Maddi's for Two & New Year's Eve!

Now through December 30th we are offering a great special menu. "Maddi's for Two" - Select 1 Appetizer and 2 Entrees from our regular menu as well as 1 Featured Dessert for just $37.95! It is a perfect meal at a perfect price! And, now is the time to make reservations for our New Year's Eve Prix Fixe Dinner. Thanksgiving Weekend Specials

This Friday and Saturday join us for great specials at the Bistro! We are offering $5 glasses of wine, martini's and specialty cocktails as well as $5 appetizers. Come on in to unwind from the Holiday shopping and relax with one of our fabulous cocktails. And Sunday marks the start of our famous Candy Cane Brunch! Join us from 11-4 to enjoy seasonal food & drink specials in a festive atmosphere. We will also be open for dinner on Sunday from 4-9pm. Our Beer Dinner is coming up!

Okay, so you guys really wanted Thanksgiving! We filled up fast and could have spent Thanksgiving with twice as many of you if we only had the room. We had no idea so many people would be wanting reservations and we are sorry to those of you who we could not accomodate. Next year we will definitely add another seating!

But coming up December 2nd we have a fantastic 4 course beer dinner. It is just $39 per person and you can view the menu on our website. It looks delicious and is sure to be a lot of fun. Make your reservations now to join us for this terrific event!

Thanksgiving at Maddi's

Wow! You guys really wanted Thanksgiving at Maddi's! We are already almost completely booked for our Thanksgiving Dinner & Buffet. We are very excited and honored to share your holiday with you. Our Birkdale Gallery will be open from 12-7 on Thanksgiving and as an added bonus, we will be offering 10% off EVERYTHING in the gallery this one day only, with 15% off all Holiday items! So even if you won't be joining us for dinner, come on by and get a jump on your holiday shopping.

Upcoming Events at Maddi's

We have so much coming up at Maddi's this Fall! This October 16-24 come in for Octoberfest! We will be featuring some great beers and German food specials. We also have a Wine Dinner coming up November 4th. It will be 5 courses with wine pairings for just $49 per person! And something new this year- Thanksgiving buffet. Last year the demand for dining on Thanksgiving blew us away, so this year we listened. Join us on Thanksgiving from 12-6 for a delicious Thanksgiving buffet, just $24.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids. The Gallery will be open too so you can get a jump on the holiday shopping weekend and let us wrap up your Christmas gifts! Phew... Charlotte Restaurant Week is over and it was fantastic! We had a great turnout and want to thank everyone who came out and made it such a huge success. We are considering offering a prix-fixe menu option with 3 courses for $25. What do you, our customers think? We hope it would be an interesting option and are looking for your feedback. Chef Mike is hard at work on our new fall menu. We are aiming to introduce it August 10th so stay tuned. There are a lot of big changes in store and I think people are going to absolutely love it!

New Summer Burger Menu is Here!

Just yesterday, Chef Mike rolled out a new Burger Menu for the Summer! It features 8 awesome gourmet burgers and I can't wait to try them all. There is a meatloaf burger with fried pickles and KC BBQ sauce and a fried green tomato burger too! We are still serving our regular menu of course, so stop in to try one of these yummy new burgers or your old favorite!

Great Review in the Herald today!

What a great surprise I found when I opened my mailbox today and saw the Lake Norman Herald Weekly with Maddi's Southern Bistro right on the front cover! When I opened it and read the review of our restaurant, I couldn't have been more pleased. It was a terrific review and I really felt proud of our entire staff! We strive to provide great service and food and nothing is better than knowing the customers are enjoying it! New Spring Specials!

Jon just informed me that we are going to be celebrating Spring and the additional patio seating we have added by offering $5 Wine by the Glass every Monday-Thursday through Summer! What great timing for this special! There is nothing better than sitting out on either of our patios and enjoying a glass of wine, especially when all Wine by the Glass is only $5!

We have changed our daily specials as well, they are:
Sunday- $3.50 Bloody Mary & Mimosas
Monday- 1/2 Price Bottles of Wine
Tuesday- $2 Tuesday! All Beers just $2

Grateful Growers "Farm to Table" Dinner

We have teamed up with local Denver farmers, Grateful Growers to host a "Farm to Table" Dinner May 27th. Chef Mike will be creating a menu featuring their pork and we are really looking forward to it. We will have 2 seatings, one at 6pm and one at 8pm. The menu isn't quite ready yet, but when it is, I will definitely give more details. This should be a one-of-a-kind event!

Folk Art Festival

Our Gallery will be hosting the Carolina Folk Art Festival Saturday May 16th 10-6 and Sunday May 17th 12-6. We have over 40 regional artists coming to set up in the greens of Birkdale and sell their artwork! We have an awesome mix of paintings, pottery, jewelry and more to come see. I am so excited about the festival, and it is always a very busy weekend at the Bistro!

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day, bring Mom to Maddi's for a great Brunch or Dinner! Chef Mike has worked up a new Brunch menu that we will be serving from 11-4, and from 4-9 we will be serving our regular menu with a few great feature entrees! Last year we had a great turnout and we expect the same this year! And of course, we have great gifts for Mom in our Gallery as well! I am looking forward to a very busy weekend.

Easter Brunch

We are hosting Easter Brunch at the Bistro Sunday April 12th from 11am until 4pm. Chef Mike has created a great menu with lots of delicious selections to choose from. He has included Maddi's favorites like Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits as well as specialty omelets and Pecan Waffles with Roasted Almonds and Banana Syrup. YUM! I can't wait to try it myself! Comfort Food in Difficult Times

Maddi's is introducing our new Recession Menu Wednesday March 11th. We will be featuring 7 entrees under $10 Monday through Thursday until Easter. Our Chef's have created delicious comfort foods that can help everyone feel better!

Valentine's Day Weekend

This Valentine's Day we are celebrating all weekend at the Bistro! Come in Friday, February 13th or Saturday, February 14th from 5-10pm to enjoy a special menu. We are serving a Five Course menu complete with a surprise gift from the Gallery for just $49 per person. Reservations are required and we are likely to fill up fast so call today! This January, to celebrate the Inauguration, we decided to make a special fit for the President! We are offering a Create Your Own Prix Fixe Menu now through Jan. 31st. You can select 3 courses from our regular menu, including Soup, Salad, Entree and Dessert for just $25! What a great deal that is, and a great opportunity to try our amazing desserts or our famous Butternut Squash and Apple Soup in addition to our fabulous entrees.
